Mailbox Love

Yep, that's what I got when I ran out to the mailbox today. It was the only thing in my mailbox. And who was it from you ask?! None other than the Mailbox Love Queen, Monica.

I love the little mailbox she put on the package, and I'm sure all the postal workers who got to see it had smiles on their faces. :)

What was in the package? Fabric, of course. And a calendar with chickens (and other birdies). January has my favorite chicken....a Silkie! :)

Also in the package was a little chicken tape measure. I'll keep that in my purse.

I don't know what I'll do with the fabric yet, but they are yummy. :) I need to wash them, iron them, and play with them.

And not just any chicken calendar... a Washington state chicken calendar! It was actually DH who saw it when we were in the farm store... "Look - for Cindy!".

You crack me up showing my drawing. See world... I can send a pretty (cough, cough) package!

I am completely jealous of the chicken tape measure. :)

What a wonderful friend! I love those tape measures - I have a dog! The fabrics are luscious - I love The Pine Needle. I stay far away there now that I'm on the "diet". Went there to just window shop in December and spent over $200! They had the most wonderful flannel coordinates with bears and bunnies - of course I had to have some to make quilts for the grandkids!

Oh you are so lucky to get "mail box love" (and without a bill attached LOL). My wonderful packages usually come with a bill, but they are still fun:) Love the chicken tape measure.
