Inspiration

My organized friend Monica inspired me to clean out my fabric stash. I went in and ironed and folded, then ironed some more and folded some more! It didn't really take all that long, and I like the results. I think this is a trend now. I can just imagine all the ironing and folding going on right now in happy quilters' homes.

This is, of course, my drawer before. I chose to do the pink fabrics first, just cuz I like pink. :)

And here is the drawer after. And just a note **The top pink fabric with the flowers, is 5 yards, so this technique works with large pieces of fabric, in case any of you are wondering if you can do it with BIG amounts of fabric. The answer is YEP! :)

Now to go work on my greens, yellows, whites/blacks, purples........

I love folding and straightening fabric - it allows me to get reacquainted with what I have all over again.

Wow, everyone is getting bit by the folding bug.

Like I begged Monica : Wanna come to Kansas and fold? Come on, it's not too far :)

Looks great, and it is so much fun! I found myself getting lots and lots of inspiration ironing and folding long forgotten fabric pieces...(I know, I'm weird...)
