Fabric Diet
I was happily reading along on my favorite blogs and came across Anne's blog where she mentioned that she was going on a Fabric Diet. I thought, wow, I need to do that! I don't have as much fabric as some of the chicks I know, but I do have quite a bit that needs using. So, I got the badge from Kim at A Peach in Stitches, now I'm committed! Now I CANNOT buy any fabric, at least for this month. I plan to make a trip to Fabric Depot (hopefully with a bunch of bloggy, crafty, quilty friends) in July when I'm in WA, so the diet will have to go to the wayside for that day. Now, I must go sew....finishing a project that will be posted asap! :)

Willpower. I have none. I'm anxious to hear how your diet goes. And looking forward to seeing the new project!
Ah, yes, the Fabric Depot. I've made stops there every time I'm up that way. Guess you'd better save up your fabric "calories" for that trip! LOL!
I'm with Michelle! Will power... what's that?
I do love using what I have... but I also can't stop myself from buying more. And if I don't buy it, someone else will and I'll never have it! FD awaits you!
Can't wait to see what you've got cookin'!
Ah... but don't you know - as with any diet, there are reasons you are allowed to "splurge". I believe a vacation is definitely reason to splurge - besides, how often do you get to go to the Fabric Depot?
You know - vacations don't count as "diet" times - just like quilt retreats!
Hope I can see you when you are here!
Hey, how wonderful to have you going on the diet with me :o) And I agree with the ladies that you must allow yourself to go off the diet for vacations and special occations. Set your own rules, but use the diet to limit the buying. My diet does not include "fabric to finish already started projects" and my BOM (sort of low-fat rather than non-fat *lol*). Best of luck :o)
